Dr, Ibrahim Aliyu Aminu was born on June 21, 1965 in his native home, Udaba Dekina, Kogi State. He is a Principal Lecturer at Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, a facilitator in the degree programme of the college and the Head of Department of Biology in the college.
He holds a PhD of the University of Bakht Al-Ruda, Sudan with specialization in Bacteriology which he acquired in 2017, M.Sc. (Medical Microbiology) from Kogi State University, Anyigba (2013) and three post graduate Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma in education (PGDE) 2007 of University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Post Graduate Diploma (PED) in Health Science and Technology with specialization in microbiology 2004 the same University of Nigeria Nsukka and post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration (2003) from Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma. He also attended Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo for his National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology and graduate in 1985 and 1991 respectively. He is literate in computer operation and basic applications.
He has lots of community service within and outside Kogi State Collegeof Education, Ankpa He served as COEASU representative on the Academic Board, Secretary, College of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU),Ankpa chapter and members of several Ad-hoc and standing committees with Kogi state college of Education, outside the college, he has served as Secretary ,Ankpa Road Safety Club, Secretary-General, Special Marshal and Partnership, Federal Road Safety Commission, Ankpa unit command, National Secretary. Ochaja Old Student Association (OOSA) and Secretary, Global Education partner; the proprietor of Global College, Ojokodo- Ankpa just mention a few.
He has several academic publications as a mark of scholarship. He is a member of several professional bodies including, Science Teachers Association of Nigeria.(STAN). National Association for Science Humanities and Education Research (NASHER), Eurasia Easeach, Dubai and the Teacher Registration council of Nigeria (TRCN)
